Diploma in Bible
Overview: The three-year Diploma in Bible is designed for men and women who desire ministry training but lack the qualifications for the degree program. This program is not accredited therefore it does not qualify a student for further academic study or allow a student to transfer into a degree program.
Duration: 3 years
Qualifications: To qualify, applicants must complete the CABC application form and have a grade 12 certificate. Applicants that did not receive a credit or better in English will be required to take CABCs English Entrance Exam. A minimum score of 70% is required.
Bachelors of Arts in Bible
Overview: The four-year Bachelor of Arts in Bible is designed for men and women who desire to be equipped for ministry in the local church. This degree is not only recognized in Zambia but is also internationally accredited. Graduates of this program can choose to pursue a Masters degree.
Duration: 4 years
Qualifications: To qualify, applicants must complete the CABC application form and have 5 O Level credits (or the equivalent) or better including English.
Note: Even if you qualify to enter into our degree program, you are only tentatively accepted until after your first academic year. If at the end of your first academic year it is found that your GPA is lower than that which is expected from degree students, you will be unable to continue in the degree program.
Diploma in Primary Education
Overview: Students in the Education program not only receive an excellent education from a qualified faculty, but also learn how to teach from a Biblical worldview. During their time at CABC, students take Bible classes along with their education classes. They also receive one-on-one mentoring from faculty and staff to help equip them to be effective teachers and faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
The three-year diploma is approved by the Ministry of Education, and as of 2017 we have a 100% pass rate on the ECZ examinations. Graduates from this program can go on to receive their degree in Education through another institution if they so choose.
Duration: 3 years
Qualifications: To qualify, an applicant must complete the CABC application form and have 5 O Level credits or better including English, Mathematics, and Science.
Masters in Ministry
Overview: Central Africa Baptist College & Seminary offers a Masters in Ministry (MMin) degree through a partnership with Piedmont International University, USA. Classes are delivered in six to twelve week segments on CABCs campus, with a total of ten classes in the program.
The Masters program is designed to accommodate those in full-time ministry or employed. For further details, please contact the CABC Admissions office.
Duration: 1.5 years
Qualifications: An applicant must complete the CABC application and have a Bachelors degree from a recognized university or institution. Any specific questions about which degrees qualify for the Masters program should be directed to the Director of Admissions. Students who receive a Bachelor in Bible degree from CABC may apply to pursue a Masters degree if they so choose.
Chaplaincy Certificate Program
Overview: This program is designed for men and women currently serving or desiring to serve as chaplains in the Army, Police, Air-force, National Service, Correction Service, Immigration Services, Fire Department, Schools, or other capacities. Classes focus on equipping chaplains to know how to share the Word of God as well as how to provide Biblically based counseling to those under them.
Duration: 2 years (A total of nine block-classes)
Qualifications: In order to work towards the Chaplains Certificate, applicants should be a chaplain and recommended by his or her commanding officer.
Pastor’s Certificate Program
Overview: Central Africa Baptist College & Seminary realizes that due to the demands of ministry not every pastor can attend CABCs degree program. In order to help pastors who desire training and resources, CABC offers a Pastors Training Certificate Program.
Various teachers and pastors from around the world teach these classes in a series of one-week blocks. Each class covers a different book of the Bible, provides tools necessary to accurately understand Gods Word, and teaches how communicate Gods Word to others
Duration: 3 years (A total of nine block classes)
Qualifications: While CABC has specifically designed this program for men serving as pastors, any Christian man may choose to attend.
Sign Language Certificate
Overview: Central Africa Baptist College & Seminary is currently the only institution of higher learning in Zambia that offers a certificate in Zambian sign language. Designed for educators, pastors, and christian workers who desire to communicate and minister to the deaf, the program accommodates those who work or minister full-time. Classes are typically offered in evening sessions on CABCs campus during regular semesters.
Durations: 2 years
Qualifications: Any Christian may apply through the admissions office; intake into the program is in January of each year.
